Misguided financial advice can derail your future and understanding wealth enhancing opportunities is important with Americans facing up to 30 years of retirement. The show will focus on how women approach money and solutions for long term financial security. Women are usually the ones left to care for family members or aging parents. They outlive men by an average of a decade. Their longevity means their financial needs are accentuated and need to be planned for differently. Misguided financial advice from celebrities such as Suze Orman can jeopardize our financial security and we all pay the price from following bad financial advice. My guest is today Karen Roberts, Karen is currently serving as National President of Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS) with chapters across the US. Karen also is Principal Owner of The Emerald Financial Group located in Deerfield Beach, Florida and a Wealth Planning Specialist with 21 years in the financial service industry.
